[00:00:00] Speaker A: One of the topics that I have been discussing quite a bit on social media is the role that the white Christian nationalist evangelicals are playing in our country right now and how I believe they are the core of the problem that is eating away at our society. My name is Kurt Mullet. I'm Hoosier Blue, and I have something to say.
Let's get at it.
So I'm specifically talking about the white Christian nationalist evangelicals.
That is what this whole POD is about.
It's that sector of people.
I'm not going to get into the discussion of religion or the beliefs or teachings of Christians or Catholics, what's in the Bible, what Jesus taught. I think all of us who have been exposed to religion over our life understand what those teachings were and what the Bible is all about. And whether you believe in it or not, that is up to you. I'm not going to talk about that.
But I think we all can agree that white Christian nationalists, evangelicals, they do not follow a Bible like we traditionally know the Bible to be.
They have created their own theology, their own ideology, their own interpretation of what God's word or what Jesus's words were and what they mean. And that is the core problem in our society today.
That is what is eating away and dividing this country. Like we have not seen for a long time.
White Christian nationalism, evangelicalism, whatever you want to call it. I put them all together because I believe they all are. One has always been around.
Go all the way back and say that 1619, when the first slave ship landed on the shores of America, the White Lion.
That was a Christian nationalist belief. White dudes thinking that black people are inferior to them, kidnapping them and bringing them here to be their slaves. I mean, to me, that's the purest form of Christian nationalism, isn't it?
But this has always been part of our society.
Let's go to the 1692 and 1693 Salem witch trials that were held by Puritans. That happened in a Puritan village.
That was Christian nationalism.
That was white evangelicals.
Lunatics who believed that women were possessed by the devil, who put them on trial, found them guilty and burnt them at the stake.
This was white Christian nationalism rearing its ugly head.
And it's been a part again of our society since basically our country was born.
We could trace it in through time, decade after decade, all the way up through the Civil War and the division that it caused during that time. Because that's what it was all about.
It was about slavery.
It was about white Southerners and their Belief that they had the right to own black men as slaves.
That's white Christian nationalism.
Because those same people bought and held slaves on their plantations. And then on Sunday went to their little country churches and prayed out of their Bibles and listened to the fire and brimstone from a pulpit of a dude that lived across the road from them or down the road from them, who had slaves himself preaching the word of God while having slavery being a major part of their beliefs in their society.
That's the mindset of the Christian white nationalist, the evangelical.
That's what they believe.
And then when we enter the 20th century, the KKK becomes more popular than ever.
Then after World War II, things changed a little bit.
We started to see more equality coming through in our society.
We witnessed the civil rights movement, we witnessed the women's rights movement. And after those things occurred, I think many of us started to feel like our country was finally going to become what our forefathers wanted it to be. And what they said it was a nation where all men are created equal, because that had never been the case until that point. But as we witnessed white Christian nationalists, evangelicals, they didn't like that.
That went against everything that they believed.
And they felt like our country was going to hell because the rights of other citizens besides themselves were being recognized.
And so an organization was formed called the Heritage foundation.
And they decided that they were going to write a mandate for leadership and hand it over to Ronnie Reagan.
And that is the point in time in our country that I feel was the beginning to the end. And what has led us to this point today and with what we are facing right now, we have a problem in this country right now of white Christian nationalist evangelical pastors spreading their hate throughout the nation, giving sermons to their followers, to their cultists, because that's what this is about.
These are not normal people, People that believe these thoughts and that sit and listen to these pastors and agree with what they are saying.
They're racist cultists. That's who they are. They're not normal people.
They have a hate deep within them.
And that is why I believe and why I think. And while I will always talk about the fact that they are the core problem in our nation, so what I want to do is I want to share a few clips with you and to give you examples of some of those pastors, to talk a little bit about them and to kind of prove my point at why I feel the way I do about the hate and the core problem in our nation being the white Christian Nationalist evangelicals.
Take a look at this first clip, will you?
[00:06:39] Speaker B: Obedience is doing what your dad wants you to do, even when you don't want to do it.
Submission, joyful submission, is following your husband even in times where it doesn't particularly make sense.
It's clearly not sinful, but you don't particularly want to do it.
And so why is this so powerful in a world that we live in today?
Because a world filled with insubordinate feminist women, Joyful submission is a righteously confusing witness to the broken world. They look at it and they go, how is this happening?
Because what they're seeing is what's normal.
What's common is insubordination, but it's not normal.
What's normal is order.
What's normal is order. And our duty as the church, as Pastor Corbin said, is to tell the world what is normal, because the Bible communicates what is normal in the word of God. And when you have the instruction manual for marriage, it's pretty easy. You can follow the rules and roles of marriage and you have a very ordered marriage. Joy is the result. And that is an extremely powerful evangelistic witness to women when they see your joyful submission and your beautiful, ordered family.
[00:08:06] Speaker A: This is Dale Partridge. He's from the New Way Bible Church. He talks about obedience is doing what your dad or your husband wants you to do. Submission, joyful submission, is following your husband, even in times when it doesn't particularly be make sense.
Joyful submission, the thought process is just. I don't get it. He says that it is a world filled with insubordinate feminist women, and that's a problem.
Women are allowed to think and fight for themselves. They aren't allowed to be equals to us.
They are supposed to be our subordinates. They are supposed to follow what we tell them to do and not have a mind of their own. Only the white dude standing up there at the pulpit talking about the word of God is who's supposed to have rights and women are not supposed to. And that when you have a very ordered marriage, joy is the result.
And that is an extremely powerful evangelistic witness to women when they see your joyful submission and your beautiful, ordered family.
This is why I feel the way I do about white Christian nationalist evangelicals.
The hate is unbelievable. The thought process is.
It's like I said earlier, it takes us back to colonial America or back to the 1600s.
I mean, I wouldn't put it past this guy. If he felt his wife or daughter stepped out of line or was possessed by the Devil that he would take her out back and tie her to a wood stake and set her ass on fire.
I mean, it's, it's unbelievable and scary as hell at the same time.
And we need to pay attention to it this next clip.
Well, just take a look at it.
[00:10:36] Speaker C: Women are atrocious today.
They are. They are immodest. They're hoes, they're dumb, like literally, intellectually unintelligent. They are shallow, they are deceitful, they are wicked, they are vile. They vote for trannies. I mean, it. It's a, this is, I'm not making it up. It is a 45, objectively, 45 point difference between young men and young women today.
That's where we're at. 45 point difference. Women are radical progressives.
[00:11:14] Speaker A: So this is Joel Webb, and I'm sure all of you have seen his face at one time or another.
He's actually married and has three daughters. And, and he sits there and talks about women as being atrocious, hoes, dumb, intellectually unintelligent, shallow. He calls women shallow, which I find rich coming from the mouth of this bigoted, shallow motherfucker. I mean, unbelievable.
Calls them deceitful, wicked, vile, and they vote for trannies.
Wow.
Are you understanding a little bit better now why I feel the way I do about white Christian nationalists, evangelicals?
Because they sit around and talk like this with their smug ass attitudes, sitting in a chair with their microphone, having their podcast, talking and degrading women like they're pieces of trash.
Even though he has a wife and three daughters.
It's Christian nationalist evangelical pieces of shit like this that are the true problem in this country.
And that is what I'm trying to get across here.
That is what I'm trying to expose is the thought process of these dudes. Because they are out there in the thousands, if not tens of thousands, if not by the million.
I mean, Stephen Miller is a perfect example. Pete Hegsett, he's another perfect example of dudes that think like this.
In fact, this last clip that I want to share with you is from Pete's pastor, from the dude that preaches at the church that Pete attends in dc.
So take a look at this.
Women are the kind of people that people come out of.
So you just think they're meant to have babies. That's it. They're just a vessel. No, it doesn't take any talent to simply reproduce biologically. The wife and mother who is the chief executive of the home is entrusted with three or four or five eternal Souls. I'm here as a working journalist and I'm a mom of three. Good for you. Is that an issue?
No, it's not automatically an issue.
So, yeah, this is Doug Wilson. Pete Hegsess, pastor.
And of course you just heard. He doesn't believe that it takes any talent to reproduce biologically. Jesus Christ, man. I mean, maybe the intercourse part of it takes no talent. I mean, dudes like him always have 30 or 40 seconds to kill, right?
So there's no talent there that's needed by fuck heads like this.
But let's ignore the next nine months that the woman has to endure by carrying a child. And I'm not saying endure in a bad way. I'm just saying all of the things that come with a pregnancy. If you've ever had a wife or daughter or been around a woman who has gone through a pregnancy, it can be the most joyful experience that they've ever had. It could be also one of the most shitty experiences they ever had.
I witnessed the latter.
I witnessed a woman, my wife back in the 90s, go through a pregnancy that was not a good pregnancy.
It was a struggle the entire seven months that she made it because our daughter ended up being born premature.
And this is the part of it that. That also has failed to be talked about. It takes no talent to biologically reproduce.
That's very big of you there, Dougie, to say something stupid ass like that. So let me ask you, Dougie, what are your thoughts? If that woman had to have an abortion in order to save her life, how would you feel about it then?
Does that fall into that no talent to reproduce thing?
And how do you feel if that would have to be the case? Would you allow the wife or the woman to die because abortion is against what your God believes or what your God thinks?
Or would you allow her to have an abortion to save that child?
Or if she went and had that abortion, what would you do to her then?
I mean, because I know in many states by bills that are trying to be passed and some laws that have already been passed that are being written and backed by white Christian nationalists, evangelicals like your fucking ass want to throw the women in prison.
And in some states they are trying to charge the woman with murder and sentence her to death.
So how do you feel about that, Doug?
It's no wonder that the birth rate in this country continues to drop because of shitheads like you and like Dale and like Joel and like the other thousands and thousands of white Christian nationalist preacher pieces of shit who are out There spreading this kind of bullshit and have this kind of thought process and want to treat women like they're your fucking possessions.
Like the only thing they're good for is to reproduce and to cook your meals and to take care of your home. Or as you put it, Doug, the executives of the home. What the fuck does that mean?
I believe the white Christian nationalist evangelical. Like these pieces of shit are the core of the problem in our country.
It's the Dales, it's the Joel's, it's the Dougies, it's all of these motherfuckers who think this and who project this thought and ideologies. And for all the women who are married to these guys and who support this, shame on you.
Shame on the you. If that is what you want to be in your life and you want your life to be, then you go ahead and do it.
But to project this on everybody else in this country to think that all women should fall into this subordinate type of suppression and be treated like dog and like a possession is wrong. And it's none of your fucking business. And, and it shouldn't be done.
The last thing I'm going to say about this is that we need to keep in mind not only did these white Christian nationalist evangelicals believe all of this bullshit and project this kind of thought onto women and others in their churches or whatever, they are the same people who believe that the war in Iran right now is fulfilling scripture, that this is Armageddon in the making and that this will fulfill scripture and bring Jesus back to earth.
That is what these motherfuckers believe.
Their hate and their bigotry and their.
Their suppression.
And how they talk about women and human beings in general is fucking disgusting.
And if anyone thinks that these guys are Christian like that, this is what the Bible tells people to be. Well, you need to go get your fucking head examined. Because this is anything but the teachings of Jesus and what it said in the Bible. And like I said, whatever you believe is what you believe.
But those of us who are familiar with the Bible, we know goddamn well these guys haven't got a clue. They're projecting their own hate and their own racism. That's what it is all about.
