[00:00:01] Speaker A: The investigation that led to Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 arrest was the result of renewed federal scrutiny that began in late 2018 and continued until his arrest on July 6, 2019.
He was incarcerated, then was found dead in his jail cell just 26 days later under highly suspicious circumstances.
Join me as I take a dive from the beginning of the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, the results of those investigations and where we are at today with the Epstein files.
My name is Kurt Mullet.
I am Hoosier Blue and I have something to say.
Let's get at it. Foreign 2005 Palm Beach Police Department began investigating Jeffrey Epstein due to accusations and information by many victims and eyewitnesses accusing him and others of sexual abuse of minors and a possible sex trafficking operation.
They then referred the case to the FBI. In 2006, due to dissatisfaction with the state level charges, the FBI and the U.S. attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida opened a federal file and began building a case, the Epstein files.
By May of 2007, Assistant US Attorney Marie Vilafana, the line prosecutor in the case, had prepared a 60 count 53 page draft indictment against Jeffrey Epstein. This included detailed evidence and a memorandum outlining legal strategies and testimonies from 40 victims who the majority of were children when the alleged crimes against them occurred.
Instead of pursuing the indictment, federal prosecutors under the direction of U.S. attorney Alexander Acosta, who later was appointed and served as 45's Secretary of Labor from 2017 to 2019, negotiated a secret non prosecution agreement, an NPA with Epstein's legal team.
That agreement was signed in June of 2008.
The agreement included granting Epstein immunity from federal charges.
It immunized unnamed co conspirators.
It required Epstein to plead guilty to two state charges of soliciting prostitution, one involving a minor.
He was then sentenced to 18 months of incarceration.
Eighteen months in a minimum security plush facility in Palm beach where he only served 13 months before being released early on good behavior.
During the 13 months he was allowed to leave the facility for 12 hours each day, six days a week to work from his private office.
It was later discovered that during this time he continued to solicit an exploit to young girls, children and women.
The files were sealed and hidden due to a clause within the NPA that kept the federal case confidential.
Victims were not informed about the details of this clause and that was in violation of the Crime Victims Rights Act.
And so at that point the Epstein case and the Epstein files disappeared from the public eye.
That is until the Miami Herald ran a story in 2018, resurfacing the case with additional information and thus brought widespread national attention back onto Jeffrey Epstein and his ring of Associates, where felon 47 was a very active player.
The case was then reopened in 2019.
After Epstein's arrest in New York, parts of the 2008 file were revisited. The DOJ's Office of Professional Responsibility later criticized the original handling of the case.
MAGA is spreading false rumors and have adopted a bullshit narrative that Barack Obama said on the files when he was president and would not release them due to his knowledge of who was contained in the files.
That is a bold face bullshit lie.
No one could release the files or get their hands on them due to the original MPA under the authority of Republican and Alexander Acosta. That is the truth and those are the facts.
Now if you really want to talk about someone who could have exposed the Epstein files and investigated this further, let's look at Pam Bondi, the current US Attorney General under felon 47.
In 2011, she was elected Attorney General of the State of Florida.
During her tenure, Bondi, legally as the State ag, could have reopened and pursued state level charges against Epstein.
Especially given the fact that allegations of his sexual abuse of young girls, children and women continued to be reported throughout this entire time.
Many legal experts stated that Bondi had the authority to prosecute Epstein under Florida law, but she chose not to.
Critics accused her of being willfully silent on the matter despite growing public pressure and media scrutiny.
So when you want to accuse someone of sitting on the files, ignoring the facts and the evidence that have been compiled and collected surrounding the Epstein case and those involved, look no further than Pam Bondi.
It's unbelievable.
The Epstein file investigation is still ongoing to this day and has not been officially concluded. And this is why Joe Biden could not release the files and why In December of 2021, Epstein's associate Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted for sex trafficking of minors and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
She has now been moved to a very similar facility that Jeffrey was was originally put in. A plush minimum security facility where she is not allowed to leave. But she has been awarded the freedom to move about the facility freely as she feels on a daily basis.
This move was granted by felon 47.
Now in 2023, the House Oversight Committee launched a bipartisan investigation into Epstein's network and plea deals surrounding the case.
This is the only lawful way the Epstein files can be forced to be made public is by an act of Congress.
Now after the Oversight Committee began their investigations, the Epstein files became a hot talking point of the Trump campaign during most of 2024.
On numerous occasions, the felon himself said, release the Epstein files or I'm going to release the Epstein files. Or he even said, I'm going to consider releasing the Epstein files. He made all of those claims nationally.
And both Don Jr. And Eric made public appearances demanding that the Epstein files be released along with many other Republicans and associates of the Trump campaign. Because this was one of those topics that they thought they could own the libs with.
But of course there and there their absolute stupidity and arrogance of thinking the felon was not listed in the files and that he had no involvement with Jeffrey Epstein has now been backfired in their faces and they are now trying to backpedal up a steep hill on a one wheeled bicycle.
But we are not going to let them.
Earlier this year, the committee released transcripts from the interviews with key figures, including former Labor Secretary and former Attorney General in Florida, Alex Acosta, and subpoenaed documents from Epstein's estate.
During a closed door deposition with the House oversight committee on September 19th of this year, Alex Acosta was questioned about the 2008 MPA deal he had brokered with Jeffrey K. Epstein. That deal is now known as the Sweetheart deal.
Representative Melanie Stansbury of New Mexico recently made this statement after questioning of Alex Acosta had concluded there were at least.
[00:11:17] Speaker B: 40 minors who gave sworn statements to the FBI as part of the investigation before a decision was made in this case that they had been raped, abused and trafficked over 40 minors.
And the line prosecutor in this case wrote an 82 page memo to the leadership in the U.S. attorney's office recommending a prosecution. And she was so convinced, based on the evidence and interviews that she had taken and recalled reviewed that she drafted a 53 page indictment in this case.
And what Mr. Acosta just told us is that based on his assessment of the case with his team, that he did not see sufficient evidence to move forward with prosecuting the case, that there were weaknesses in the case.
When asked if he made the decision as to whether or not to prosecute fully prosecute this case, he took responsibility for it.
He said it was the decision of him and his team. But when asked if he had directly reviewed the evidence itself in this case, he said that he had not actually read the statements of the victims.
So let me just say this, something doesn't smell right here.
[00:12:49] Speaker A: So let's get this straight. Acosta took responsibility for the decision not to prosecute Epstein during the George Bush administration.
However, he admitted he had made that decision without reading any of the victim's statements himself.
So he. He.
So he admitted that he determined that there was no reason to prosecute Epstein while not reading any of the actual goddamn testimonies.
Are you fucking kidding me?
And they want to blame Obama and Biden Biden for this?
[00:13:36] Speaker B: Jesus.
[00:13:39] Speaker A: I swear to God, these. These people are on epic levels of corruption and stupidity. I struggle to find enough words to describe my bewilderment of these people.
What can you say?
I mean.
Okay.
A discharge petition to force the release of the Epstein files is still pending with just one signature shy of triggering a House vote.
This is why Minnie Moses Mike Johnson has delayed the procedural swearing in of Adelita Grivulva for over a month now.
Adelita won the 7th Congressional District seat in Arizona with 70% of the vote, leaving the citizens in that district without official representation.
Moses Johnson is clearly, clearly obstructing her duly elected right to participate in Congress and represent her, her constituents.
All because he understands she will be the deciding vote that will turn the tide and force the release of the Epstein files.
This dude should be removed from office and indicted for his actions.
But of course, this is not going to happen right now.
It may someday, though.
We won't forget.
So when maga, Cankles, Moses, jd, Pam, or whoever want to say, why didn't Barak and Joe release the files? They are coming from a place of complete unbridled ignorance and undeniable corruption.
Now, I have to admit, I was not aware of a lot of the information and facts surrounding the Epstein files. Because before I dove deep into researching this, where I could properly and with knowledge dispute the narratives and comments spewed by MAGA trolls on my social media pages.
But now I do.
And I hope I have also given you that same knowledge and confidence to do the same.
